The Rapidos alpha track detector by Radonova has the convenience of a short term radon test with the benefits of a long term test. Both accurate and flexible, it is one of the most effective ways to measure radon in workplaces and schools.
Greater air volume doubles the detection speed to provide an improved statistic for short term measurement. Detector employs alpha track technique for measurement. Device is composed of film elements inside anti-static plastic housing. Radon enters by diffusion.
Detector analysis performed using state-of-the-art image scanner at Radonova’s C-NRPP accredited laboratory. Exposure results available in 7-10 business days, expressed in Bq/m3.Holmes Approved, recognized by Health Canada, C-NRPP listed measurement device. Analyzed by ISO 17025 accredited lab.

What do I do when I receive the detector, what is the process?
The Radtrak3 and Rapidos Alpha Track detectors will arrive with their own unique instruction sheet, and return envelope. Each detector should be registered individually with the Login Credentials provided on the instruction sheet.
When you are ready to start testing, remove the detector from the plastic wrap and place it where you want to test. Follow the instructions to register your detector with radonline.com. Note: the detector will stay in this location for the entire testing period.
When you have finished testing, log back in to radonline.com and update your testing information.
Mail your detector to the lab. (please use a trackable shipping service)
When ready, your report will be available for download using your login at radonline.com. You will also receive a copy of your report to your email address.
